Boutique accommodation is offered in 21 deluxe, freestanding bungalows, bures and cabins, most leading directly onto the sandy beach. From the hammock on your private balcony, you'll have views across the waters of the Great Barrier Reef to other distant Whitsunday islands.

Peppers Palm Bay is distinguished by the things it lacks. There are no televisions or telephones in any of the guest rooms leaving you with no other option but to relax, rest up and indulge in the ambience of the lazy tropical Queensland lifestyle.

Peppers Palm Bay offers gourmet cuisine and fine dining featuring only the freshest ingredients.

Dinner is served on the terrace of our signature restaurant 'La Riviera' or we can arrange an intimate candlelit dinner on your private balcony.

Breakfast: Continental buffet breakfast with a hot a la carte selection, served between 8-10am
Lunch: 12pm - 2pm
Dinner: 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Up to 42 guests can be accommodated in 21 deluxe beachfront bungalows, bures and cabins with views over the Whitsundays. And when it comes to leisure time, there's a host of activities to enjoy including swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, bushwalking and exploring the Great Barrier Reef by seaplane, helicopter, yacht or launch.

Set against the backdrop of turqoise water in Queensland's Whitsunday Islands, tropical gardens and National Parks, Peppers Palm Bay is the ideal wedding venue for a small, intimate wedding or even for couples wishing to elope.

Catering to a maximum of 40 guests, the marriage ceremony can take place on the beach, in the garden or at the poolside. For the bride and groom  wishing to surround themselves with family and friends, the retreat is available on an exclusive use basis. Choose from a variety of reception options including lunch or sunset cruises, seaplane & helicopter flights to a candlelight dinner in La Riviera restaurant. 

We can arrange hairdressers, beauticians, photographers, celebrants, flowers and music. The retreat is easy to access from the mainland and we can organise transfers or overnight accommodation packages for guests. Of course, with the Great Barrier Reef on our doorstep and only 21 deluxe beachfront bungalows, bures and cabins this is also the perfect escape for a romantic and secluded honeymoon in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia.

Peppers Palm Bay is located on Long Island, Qld, 4802.

The Whitsundays are centrally located on the Queensland coast and in the heart of the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef.

• Fly into Hamilton Island Airport and transfer by Helicopter or Seaplane direct to Peppers Palm Bay. Or take the Fantasea Ferry to Shute Harbour (approx. 40 minutes) then transfer to Peppers Palm Bay on Long Island via the property's own luxury vessel 'Jetstream'.
• Alternatively you can fly into Proserpine on Virgin or Jetstar and transfer by helicopter or seaplane direct to Peppers Palm Bay OR by bus (approx $20pp - 45 minutes), taxi (approx $50) or luxury limousine to Shute Harbour. From Shute Harbour, guests are transferred by private launch to Peppers Palm Bay using the property's own luxury vessel 'Jetstream'. This 20 minute transfer operates 5 times daily.
