Peppers Anchorage Port Stephens has been designed to make the most of its absolute waterfront location. The retreat has been built in the style of a cosy fishing village and accommodation is housed in four interlinked guesthouses lining the marina's edge. With 80 luxury hotel rooms, Peppers Anchorage Port Stephens is large enough to provide great guest facilities but small enough to retain an intimate, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

All rooms and suites at Peppers Anchorage have their own balcony or verandah, almost all with unobstructed views over the sparkling waters of Port Stephens.

Intimate guest lounges are found on both levels of two accommodation guest houses and there are several reception rooms in the main building, where guests can relax on the comfortable sofas, play billiards and enjoy the stunning views of the bay.

Room types include:

Anchorage Room (Twin)
Available in Hollywood twin with ensuite bathroom. Interconnecting rooms with Anchorage Queen are also available. One Anchorage Twin room is designed for disabled guests.

Anchorage Room (Queen)
Available in Deluxe queen with ensuite bathroom. Interconnecting rooms with Anchorage Twins are also available. There is one Anchorage Queen designed for disabled guests.

Captain Suite
Executive queen-size suites with separate lounge room, guest bathroom and ensuite bathroom.

Loft Suite
Unique cosy suites with mezzanine queen or king bedrooms, dormer windows and a downstairs lounge room and balcony. Bathrooms feature baths with spa jets.

Master Suite
An executive suite with 180-degree panoramic views of Port Stephens. The suite includes a king-size bedroom, lounge, dining area, main marble bathroom with double sized spa and additional guest bathroom. It also interconnects with a twin room to form a family suite.

Overlooking Peppers Anchorage Port Stephens marina and boardwalk, Merretts restaurant is renowned for its innovative menu rich in the freshest seafood Port Stephens has to offer. An extensive choice of non-seafood options, an all-day dining cafe menu and comprehensive vegetarian menu are also available.

Executive Chef, French-born Jean-Marc Pollet gained valuable expertise whilst training in his home country and working throughout Europe and Asia. As a result, distinctive French, Mediterranean and Asian influences are evident in each of his dishes.

Everyday, Merretts restaurant serves a lavish 2 course lunch with a seasonal menu including a complimentary glass of wine for $25 per person. In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner, Peppers Anchorage also serves a delicious high tea of sandwiches, pastries, scones with jam and cream and devonshire tea or coffee.

Merretts Restaurant is open 7 days.

Breakfast: 7 - 10.30am.
Lunch: 12 - 2.30pm.
High tea: 2.30 - 4.30pm
Dinner: 6.30pm onwards. Last orders taken at 9pm.

You can reach Peppers Anchorage Port Stephens by a number of different routes:

• Peppers Anchorage is a 2.5 hour drive north of Sydney on the F3 freeway. (Map can be downloaded above)
• Direct flights to Newcastle Airport (Williamtown) are available from Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra & Melbourne with Qantas, Eastern Australian Airlines, Virgin Blue and Jetstar . Transfers can be organised for the 25 minute drive from Newcastle Airport to Peppers Anchorage.
